Red Square Foods Inc. recalled an undetermined amount of frozen meat and poultry products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens. The products contain eggs, milk, and/or wheat which are not declared on the product label. Several Companies Initiate Recalls For Potential Salmonella and Listeria Contamination!

Antibiotic Resistant Salmonella Outbreak!

As of October 17, 92 people are confirmed infected in a new outbreak of antibiotic-resistant Salmonella traced to raw chicken. FSIS is working with the CDC on the outbreak investigation. Leaders in the chicken industry have been contacted regarding steps they can take to reduce Salmonella contamination. More retail locations disclosed in 6.9 million pound JBS ground beef recall

JBS Tolleson sold the recalled meat to large retail food chains and large retail institutions including schools and hospitals nationwide.  In addition, the country's largest foodservice supplier, US Foods, also purchased the recalled beef. Johnston County Hams Recalled Due To Listeria Illnesses
